Our plans for new living and entertaining areas for a house in Sydney’s south have been approved by the local council. The existing house overlooks a beautiful bay on the George’s River. But it is poorly located on the site with no connection to the garden or the river beyond. And a large flat grassed area that leads down the river is almost two stories below the house. We’ve designed the new areas to gently step down to the garden making the transition between house, garden and river virtually seamless. A large pool will contain a floating gazebo and is designed so that no pool fences are necessary. The existing house will form a semi-separate wing containing bedrooms and a granny flat. Construction starts next year!
