“Green Walls Green Roofs” arrived in the office today with a six page spread on the green roof of Seacliff House.
The book features projects from all over the world and demonstrates how these living structures help absorb rainwater, provide insulation and lower temperatures while creating a habitat for natural flora and fauna. http://www.imagespublishing.com

Our plans for new living and entertaining areas for a house in Sydney’s south have been approved by the local council. The existing house overlooks a beautiful bay on the George’s River. But it is poorly located on the site with no connection to the garden or the river beyond. Continue reading

Northern beaches project approved
Our design for a new home in Sydney’s northern beaches has been approved by Council. The house, for a young couple and their future family, is perched high on an escarpment looking east over the sea. The steep site is surrounded by majestic eucalyptus trees. Continue reading
CEA wins four Sydney Design Awards 2013 and Best Design Studio
CEA won FOUR Sydney Design Awards in 2013. THE CITY IN TURMOIL TALK PRAGUE 2013
Apparently Franz Kafka called Prague “a city of stability in turmoil.” In December I gave a talk ‘The city in turmoil: the view from the other side’ in Prague with colleague Vladimir Sitta of Terragram. The talk explored how our Antipodean experience could contribute to future urban forms.. The talk to students and architects was at the Čvut Faculty of Architecture.
